On September 18, 2022, Andrew Smith, Jr. passed away at the age of 65 at King Daughter's Hospital, Greenville, MS. Andrew was born in Glen Allan, Mississippi, on October 13, 1956. Andrew was a faithful member of True Vine Tabernacle, Elkhart, Indiana under the leadership of Pastor Nancy Lora Rodriguez.

Andrew was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Cynthia Byrd Smith; parents, Andrew and Corine Smith; grandson, Trevion Knight; brother, Willie James Smith; and sister, Debra Smith.

Andrew leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Corine Tett; and one son, William (Billy) Knight; three (3) grandsons, Dyonce Knight, Capone Mcclarin, and Tylis Tyson II; one (1) granddaughter, Ashanti Knight and six (6) great-grandchildren, Trevion Tyson, Kylise Tyson, Calaiyah Mcclarin, Santana Carpenter, Tylin Tyson, and Tylis Tyson III; nine (9) brothers: John Henry (Ruby) Shepherd, Phil Andrew Smith, Kenny Ray (Elizabeth) Smith, Dr. Bishop (Marie) Knox, Jackie Knox, Rev. Kenny Knox, Kevin Knox, Michael Knox, and Rev. Tony Knox; ten (10) sisters: Mary Ann Lowe, Linda Smith, Virginia Knox, Deloris Knox, Doris Barber, Shandra Knox, Helen Barber, Ruth Barber, Felicia (Marcus) Redmon, and Heredis Brown; and two special friends, Cher Johnson and Conrad Hochstetler.

Andrew has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends who loved him dearly.
