Mrs. Annie Mae Montgomery was born on September 9, 1950, in Cary, MS, to the late Elnora Alford and Rev. Collins Frazier. Baptized at an early age, she was a devoted and active member of Magnolia M.B. Church in Blanton for many years before joining the mother board at Locust Grove M.B. Church of Vicksburg. MS. She passed away surrounded by love.

A hard worker with a generous heart, Annie began her career at Delta Elastic, mastering sewing and creating stylish clothes for her children and community.

She later worked at Cary Gin, Vicksburg Convalescent Home, and the local school district cafeteria. Her love for children shone during her 25+ years as a bus driver for the South Delta School District.

Known for her warm spirit and sharp humor. Annie was a supportive mother, beloved friend, and cherished member of her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elnora Alford and Rev. Collins Frazier; her aunt Classie Stevenson; her son, Hunter Hoye, Sr.; brothers, Julius Carter, Louis Humphreys, and Handsome, Carl C., Camie, Johnnie B., Joe T., Jerry Lee, Esaw, Jacob, and Stanley Frazier; and sisters, Alterine, Lela, Ernestine, Cora, and Lula Mae Terrell Frazier.

Annie leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Jacqueline Binder (Lawton, OK), Walter (Velica) Buckner, Jr. (McKinney, TX), Gloria Hoye (Vicksburg, MS), and Diane Shelton (Robert Macon, Rolling Fork, MS); siblings: Charles Frazier (Cary, MS), Martha Lee Frazier (Saginaw, MI), and Claudia Frazier (New Orleans, LA): longtime friend Frankie Washington (Cary, MS); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
