Arrick J. Richards (Pearson) was born July 20, 1980, to the late Eddie Lee Pearson and Jan Pearson at South Washington County Hospital in Hollandale, MS.

Eric, as he was affectionately known, grew up under a strong faith and belief in God which were instilled in him by his parents and grandmother. This belief led him to receive Jesus Christ at the early age of nine and was baptized at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Anguilla, MS by the late Reverend L. C. Adley. Eric was a member of the church youth choir.

Eric began his education at Anguilla/South Delta School District, where he was a proud member of the South Delta marching band, basketball team and football team. He completed his high school education in Lebanon, PA and later furthered his education at Penn State Harrisburg, PA. He remained in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania living with his uncle Jerry Richards.

Eric was the oldest of three siblings and always took on the role as "his brothers' keeper". Following the death of his father in 2007, Eric became his mother's protector.

Eric was a die-hard Tennessee Titans fan. He was such a fun-loving, kind-hearted, family-oriented man with a million-dollar smile and enjoyed bringing laughter to everyone he met. One of his proudest accomplishments was the production of his album titled "Level One". Some of his other hobbies were fishing, bike riding and cooking.

Eric was a Certified Culinary Chef managing many restaurants throughout his career. He enjoyed his work as an assistant coach to his sons' basketball and football teams. Eric and his wife started their own Mr. & Mrs. Decluttering business and were very proud of its success over the past years.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Pearson, maternal grandparents, Joe & Rosie Richards and paternal grandparents Joseph & Marie Pearson.

Eric departed this life on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Jan Pearson; loving wife Laci Lynn Richards; daughter Arica Tillis; five sons Arrick Jr., Aadyn, Quardell, Jarrel, and Arristyn Richards; three brothers, Eddie Farrar of St. Paul, MN, Le-Kendrick (Hiedei) Richards of Los Angeles, CA, and Brian Richards of Anguilla, MS; two sisters, Janice Farrar of Chicago, IL, Lashonda (Jason) Feazell of Byram, MS; four grandchildren, Piercen, Alex, Jayden, and Kyrie; nine aunts, four uncles, a cousin Dr. Rocheryl who was raised as his sister; a bestfriend and cousin Terrance Cater; and a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
