Graveside services for Clara Myles, 58, will be Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Peter Cemetery in Mayersville. Pastor Travis Gully will be officiating. Family viewing will be Friday, October 2, 2020, from 5-6 p.m. in Adele Walker Memorial Chapel at the funeral home.

Clara Bell Lindsey Myles was born on October 30, 1961 in Rolling Fork, MS to the late Lucille "Polly" Lindsey and the late O.C. Cartlidge. She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Herald M.B. Church in Rolling Fork and was an active member until her untimely death on September 25, 2020 in Jackson, MS.

Clara was joined in matrimony to Alphonso "Peter" Myles on April 6, 1991. Although this union did not produce any children, she and Alphonso helped to rear several of her nieces. Clara leaves behind to cherish her memories: her husband Alphonso "Peter" Myles of Rolling Fork, MS; daughters Sheleana Evans and RoSheica Evans; five stepchildren: Wanda Myles, Alphonso Myles Jr., Carey Hampton, Lawrence Birrages, and Latora Thomas; seven sisters: Estella Evans, Toni Green, and Sylvia Jones, all of Rolling Fork, MS, Connie Green and Jerry Griffen, both of Vicksburg, MS, Deborah Conway of Florida, and Lucille Odems of Bloomington, IL; five brothers: Roosevelt Lindsey of Southaven, MS, William Curtis of Chicago, IL, Leonard Green and Glenn Green both of Vicksburg, MS, and Harold Green of Denver, CO; grandson Landon "Pookie Myles" Taylor and six other grandchildren; two special nieces Latasha Evans and Pleshette Kelly; two God-sons Robert Johnson II and Robert "Dee" Evans, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she treated as if they were her "favorite."
