Graveside services for Codelia English, 67, will be Sunday, August 9, 2020 at St. John Cemetery in Glen Allen, MS at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Cedric S. King will be officiating. Special viewing will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Adele Walker Memorial Chapel at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork, MS.

Codelia(Mice) English died August 3, 2020 at the Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville, MS. Codelia was the daughter of the late Johnny and Luetishie English. Codelia was a dedicated member of the St. John M.B. Church in the Velwood Community in Washington County, MS. Velwood was also Codelia's home community. She attended Glen Allen High School and was a 1971 graduate. Codelia was a very caring and devoted person to her family, church and her community. Even though her health may have caused her not to physically be able to do some things, it never stopped her from being involved. Codelia fought a good fight and she kept the faith. Her surviving relatives are Ruth Ann Evans of Velwood, MS; Linda Dickenson of Metcalfe, MS; Falstine Jones of Cary, MS; Larry Selvey of Houston, TX; George Turner, Jr. of Chicago, IL; Hattie Ann Harris of Jackson, MS; Warren Elliot Watson, Jr. of New Orleans, LA; Annette W. Harris of New Orleans, LA; Joyce W. Hamilton of New Orleans, LA; one god child Ja'Niayah Latham of Hollandale, MS and a host of other relatives, friends, and classmates.
