He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. Jones; children: Jermaine Jones, Dana Gryer & Ivan Boyd; sisters: Ruth Williams, Ida Johnson, Ollie Tobin, Marie Williams, Odessa Handy & Mary Ann Jones; brothers: Phillip Jones, Charles Thomas & Henry Earl Thomas; and seven grandchildren.
