D.J. accepted Christ at the age of 15 under the leadership of Apostle Charles Richardson and Prophetess Gwendolyn Richardson at Nu Vision Worship Center International Church, Jackson, Mississippi. He was a dedicated student at Tennessee State University, pursuing a degree in Engineering with only 10 hours left before graduating. He was a giver known for his quiet spirit, hugs, hardworking nature and curiosity. His desire was to do God's will to make a difference in the world.
