David L. Castle, Jr. was born August 2, 1949 to the late Julia Knox and David L. Castle, Sr.

David accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was called home to glory on June 24, 2025.

David was preceded in death by one son, David L. Castle III and three sisters: Geraldine Knox, Linda Castle and Bettie Carrol.

He is survived by his former wife, Mary E. Castle Jones, to this union two children were born; his loving daughter, Elisha (Jerron) Castle Bracy and beloved grandsons, Jadin and Jaxon Bracy; his cherished nephews, William (Connie) Carrol and Tyrone (Sandra) Carrol; three sisters: Darlene Minor, Verda (Joe) Clarke of Vicksburg and Torria Stewart; two brothers, Jimmy Castle of Vicksburg and Freddie Lee (Loretta) Knox of Grace; and a host of loved ones.
