Delores Lane Jefferies was born July 2, 1955, in Egremont, MS. She was the 10th of 12 children born to the late Willie B. and Eugene Lane Sr.

Delores confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at the Mt. Ollie MB Church under the leadership of the late reverend E.G. Montgomery.

She is preceded in death by 6 brothers; Sylvester, Henry, Larry, Samuel, Edgar, and Eddie Lane; and 1 sister Theresa Lane Anderson.

She was a graduate of Rolling Fork High School and attended Draughon's Business College. She was employed with Mississippi Christian Family Services for over 35 years.

Delores was united in holy matrimony in September 1990 to Emanuel Jefferies Sr. To this union one child was born.

On the evening of July 13th, 2022, she made her transition to be with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Emanuel Jefferies Sr. Her loving children; Dawn (Antione) Hawkins of Copperas Cove, TX, Mario Lane (Constance) of Olive Branch, MS, and Emanuel Jefferies Jr. of Southaven, MS.

She leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Destiny Dowers, Damian Lane, Jeremi Hawkins, Ashli Hawkins, MaKenzie Lane, and Jade Jefferies. 2 great grandchildren, Kyla Johnson and Tayla Lane.

Delores also leaves to cherish her memories 2 brothers Eugene Lane Jr. of Rolling Fork, MS and Ervin- Jose (Tanya) Lane of Chicago, IL. 2 sisters Darlene (Melvin) Ferman of Chicago, IL and Vera D. Lane of Cary, MS. She leaves 2 brothers-in-law Larry (Earnestine) Jefferies of Rolling Fork, MS and Robert Seaton Sr. of Cary, MS. 2 sister-in-law Patricia and Stephanie Lane both of Chicago, IL.

She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
