Services for Deloris Tatum- Jackson, 80, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, in Adele Walker Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Pastor Quincy Washington will be officiating. Viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the chapel.

A time to be born: Deloris Jackson was born March 3, 1940 to Frank and Henrietta Tatum in Filter, Mississippi; she confessed Christ at an early age at Pleasant Grove MB church under the leadership of Rev. I. H. Hampton, where she sang in the choir. She was a product of Henry Weathers High School, where she graduated in 1960. She married Leonard Jackson and was the mother of six children. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Leonard Jackson; two daughters: Gidget Maria Harris son-in-law Freddie Harris and Addie Faye Jackson son-in-law Kelester Jackson; three sons: Len Perry Jackson daughter-in-law Barbara L. Jackson, Glen O'Neal Jackson daughter-in-law Sherily Jackson, Yancy  Jackson daughter-in-law Keshia Jackson; a host of grandkids and 18 great grandkids; and five siblings. Ronnie Dean Jackson preceded her in death and a host of other relatives and friends.

Deloris Jackson was called to rest on November 9, 2020 at 4:30 pm. at the Merit Health River Region Medical Center. God in his infinite wisdom sent his angels.
