Obituary

Earl Matthew Devine, Jr. III was born to the late Earl Devine, Sr. and Mary Lee Hampton Devine on December 31, 1974 in Hollandale, MS.

Earl confessed to Christ at an early age. He continued his spiritual walk under the leadership of Reverend Donald Addison at St. Mark Baptist Church in Glen Allen, MS. Earl attended Glen Allen, and Riverside High School. His enthusiasm, willingness, and dedication to his religion were life purpose allowing him to live life and serve God immensely. Earl was always serving those around him. His passion and work ethic allowed him to be self - employed. He owned two businesses in the community, J&J Grocery and Devine Grocery.

Earl loved and cherished his family so much. His favorite things to do was spend time with his family and cook for the community and operate his businesses.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; Earl Devine Sr. and Mary Devine, three brothers; Tom Hampton, Marvin Devine, Earl Henry Devine and one sister; Jacqueline Robinson.

Earl leaves to cherish his memories his devoted companion, Jennifer Griffin; two daughters, Jada Griffin and Khyleigh Peterson; two sons, Jayceon Earl Devine and Jakholbie Williams; three sisters: Anna Devine of Natchez, MS, Gwendolyn (EB) Williams and Vivian (James) Robinson of Glen Allen, MS; three aunts: Brenda Hampton and Clara Hampton both of Oklahoma and Louise Hampton of Glen Allen, MS; two uncles, Ray Charles Hampton and Benjamin Hampton both of Glen Allen, MS; a special niece, Eboni Williams of Hollandale, MS; a special nephew, Brandon Hampton of Delta City, MS; a special cousin, Earnest Allen of Glen Allen, MS; one sister-in-law, Doris Devine of Jackson, MS;  special ladies in his life: Ethel Scott, Mary Lou Morganfield, Penny Marshall and Verda Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
