Obituary

Fayette Williams affectionately known as "Big Doll" was born July 30, 1957, in Grace, MS. She was the oldest of eleven children of Willie and Marie Jordan.

On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, Fayette responded to the voice of Jesus calling her to His heavenly home.

She confessed Christ at an early age at Shady Grove M.B. Church in Grace, MS under the leadership of the late Rev. J.H. Hall.

Fayette received her education from Henry Weathers in Rolling Fork, MS.

She was previously employed by Heritage Manor in Rolling Fork, MS.

Fayette was united in holy matrimony to Johnny Earl Williams Sr. on July 28, 1975 and into this union four children were born.

Fayette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dave and Corrine Boxley, Charlie and Mary Jane Herman and her brother, Willie Lee Jordan.

Fayette's legacy will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Johnny Williams Sr. of Vicksburg, MS; her four children, Johnny (Lekitha) Williams Jr. of Rolling Fork, MS, Larry Williams of Vicksburg, MS, Kevin (Sheila) Williams of Atlanta, GA, Lakeysher Williams of Vicksburg, MS, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her mother, Marie Jordan of Grace, MS; her father, Willie Jordan of Chicago, IL; four brothers, Darnell Jordan, Stanley Jordan, Timothy Jordan and Jermaine Jordan all of Grace, MS; five sisters, Shirley Washington, Corrine (Robert) Maxey, Lorraine Jordan all of Grace, MS, Rosie (Steve) Franklin of Alps, MS and Terri Jordan of Memphis, TN; one special cousin more like a sister, Brenda (Willie) Peterson of Mayersville, MS, one special niece, Mary "Maybe" Williams of Grace, MS and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins; one goddaughter, Dashunda (Terrence) Bailey, one godson, Jakobe Smith and her special friends Gayle Bunton and Andrea Larry.
