Frances was born in Westpoint, MS on July the 19th, 1945 to Curtis T. and Dorothy Johnson.

She was a gifted child who received notable academic honors while growing up.

Beginning in her early adulthood, she worked as a bank teller and personal banker.

She went on to become a retail clothing store manager and spent her last working years as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Maricopa County, Arizona. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree , from Maricopa County Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ottawa University.

Frances had a particular love for young people as she would often go out of her way to befriend and mentor them along the way.

Among those who will cherish her memory are her husband, John Mosley; her son, Walter Holt III; daughter,  Nichelle Polamalu; brother, Tommy Johnson; 6 grandchildren; 1 nephew; 1 niece; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.
