Frankie L. Sturdivant was born on February 9, 1978 to the late Roosevelt Sturdivant and Pauline Sturdivant in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. He confessed and accepted Jesus Christ on July 21, 1985 at Southdale Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Reverend G. A. Johnson.

He was a graduate of South Delta High School. He worked as a mechanic at Sears Auto Parts in Jackson, Mississippi until his health declined. He was joined in holy matrimony to Makechia Branch Sturdivant on Saturday, October 31, 1998.

Frankie was proceeded in death by his father, Roosevelt Sturdivant and brother Roosevelt Sturdivant, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving mother, Pauline Sturdivant; two children; Quinshayla Sturdivant of Vicksburg, MS and Kirsten Donald of Edwards, MS; two sisters; Betty Jenkins (Bruce) of Louise, MS and Mary Ann Bush (second mom) of Rolling Fork, MS; five brothers; Jimmy Lee Barfield (Patricia), Howard Barfield (Gail), Joe Barfield (Wanda), Wendell Sturdivant (Debbie) all of Rolling Fork, MS; Robert Barfield (Rena) of Dayton, Ohio; one special grandchild Emerii Green, his beloved wife Makechia Branch and special friend Rodney Jackson.

The Final Journey

The road that Frankie has traveled has reached its final destination. Frankie's transition from his earthly home to his heavenly abode is now complete. Now his spirit is abiding with the heavenly Father.
