Obituary

Mr. Freddie L. Willis-Turner was born December 28, 1948 in Hollandale, MS. Born to the late James and Lee Anna Turner. He accepted Jesus Christ at early age at Shady Grove M. B. Church in Greenville, MS. He moved to New Jersey in 2017, there he lived with his sister until his passing on April 6, 2020.

Freddie was loving and kind to all who knew him. He loved planting and raising vegetables, and loved-loved watching "Old Western Movies". He could tell you the name of every single one of them.

Preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Tellis L. Jones. He is survived by his sisters: Celeste (Charles) Washington-New Jersey, Geraldine Addison-Michigan, Tracy Norton-Mississippi, Donette ( Willie) Hall-Mississippi and Nicole Jones of Mississippi.

Brothers: Robert Turner-Wisconsin), Johnny Matthews-Tennessee, Dewayne (Tierney) Matthew-Tennessee, Elvant Smith-Washington State and Dwight Turner of Mississippi.

Aunties and Uncles: Barbara (Donnie) Bell-Mississippi, Beatrice (Sammy) Canty-Chicago and Theresa (Larry) Collins-Ohio/ John (Chris) Willis- Atlanta, Elgin (Mary) Willis-Chicago and Robert Willis of Chicago.

Graveside Services and burial  will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at St. John Church Cemetery in Glen Allen, MS at 12:noon. Pastor Willie Hall will conduct the eulogy.
