With heavy hearts we announce the passing of James Lee, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Though he has departed this earthly life, his memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

James was preceded in death by his loving parents, Elisha and Mary E. Lee; his beloved son, James Lee Jr.; his sisters, Annie Minor and Barbara Lindsey; and his brothers, Edward Dwyane Pace and Billy Ray Lee. While they welcomed him home with open arms, some left behind will forever cherish the love and memories he gave so freely.

He leaves to honor and celebrate his life his devoted wife, Kathy Thaggard-Lee; his son, Derrick Parham; and his daughter, Katrika Lee. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Patty Green and Varanda Lee, along with a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

James will be remembered for the love he shared---whether through his laughter or his comforting words.

Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that love never truly dies. James's spirit will continue to live on through the stories we tell and the lessons he taught us.
