Javonta Lydell "Bookie" Robinson Marshall was born February 11, 1995, to Lockye Robinson Crawford and Eric Lydell Marshall in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He later accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church in Hopedale, Mississippi in August 2004 at the age of ten. Bookie attended Western Line School District, South Delta School District, and Greenwood- Leflore Consolidated School District.
He departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2022 in Dundee, Mississippi and will never be forgotten.
Bookie was a resolute father, son, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend; and he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Stewart, Hopedale, Mississippi; and paternal grandparents, Sidney Marshall Jr. and Margaret R. Marshall, both of Mayersville, Mississippi.
Javonta Lydell "Bookie" Robinson Marshall leaves to cherish his loving memories his fiancé, Tis'Sunja Hall, Southaven, Mississippi; two sons, Javonta Lydell Hall and Zayden Hall, and daughter, Cyn'Kailee Ja'Starra Hall, all of Southaven, Mississippi; mother, Lockye Robinson Crawford, Mayersville, Mississippi; father, Eric Lydell Marshall, Dallas, Texas; Godparents, Stanley and Geanette Poe; grandmother, Wirene Robinson, Hopedale, Mississippi; two brothers, Contrel Davis, Dallas, Texas and MyKavion Shorter, Mayersville, Mississippi; two sisters, Ke'Erica Marshall, Dallas, Texas and Porshia Robinson, Mayersville, Mississippi; three Godsisters, Cornissa, Keyundra, Karlayla, and Godbrother, Dewayne Williams, all of Lake Village, Arkansas; two best friends, Timmie Lee Robinson Jr., Hopedale, Mississippi, and Courtney Jordan, Tennessee; ten uncles; eleven aunts; six great-uncles; five great-aunts; six nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
