He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jones; three sons: Rodney Tatum, Johnny Jones, Jr. and Jeremy Jones; four sisters: Geraldine (Melvin) Carlisle, Brenda Jennings, Janet (Arthur) Robinson and Dorothy Palmer; one brother, Reginald Jennings; and five grandchildren.
