Lakisha Marie Davis was born on June 29, 1983 to Gladys Davis and Ray Charles Griffin in the city of Vicksburg, MS.

She began her life's journey in Cary and Rolling Fork, MS. It was in these small towns where she developed lasting friendships with everyone she crossed paths with. She had boldness, confidence, nobility, and structure. With all these things, she had silliness, laughter, and lots of personality. Kisha completed her high school education from South Delta High School and proceeded to enjoy the world around her.

She gained an Early Childhood Development Degree at Hinds Community College and did what she loved most– teach children.

In her leisure time, she spent memorable moments with close friends. She spoke of her greatest accomplishments as being employed at her favorite school– Jackson State University.

Although her years were young and her accomplishments many, Lakisha departed on November 21, 2022. She leaves behind her mother, Gladys Davis-Morganfield, her siblings: Kemberle Davis, Aveon Davis, Cedrick Davis, Terrance Davis, and Damien Davis. Her godson, Sandarius Larry, and special friend of family, Sherry Merrill. She will be terribly missed by many loving cousins, loyal friends, and loved ones.
