Obituary

In an envelope marked "Personal", God addressed a letter to Lura File Mouldin. God asked her on April 6, 2024, if she was ready to leave her earthly woes behind and join him in his heavenly kingdom. In an envelope marked "Personal" she gave her answer. Although Lura's time on earth was not as long as we wanted it to be. Her life was well lived.

Lura was born to Lousi and Marie Files, along with seven-teen siblings, which all preceded her passing. She joined Christian Light Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member for over 70 years, as well as joined the choir following holding a position as a mother on the mother board. Lura worked as a teacher's assistant and a bus driver for over 30 years and later retired in 1999.

She leaves to cherish her memories and unconditional love: Robert Mouldin Jr (New Mexico), Bobbie Jean Hollins (MS), Sandra Mouldin (MS), Randy Charles Mouldin (New Mexico), Earline Gipson (MS), Raymond (Janice) Files (Texas), Demetrice (Anthony) Allen (MS), Diana (West) Hollins (MS) with sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, eleven great grand grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
