He is survived by his wife, Josie Jones; sons: Reginald (Mary) Cole, Melvin (Nickole) Cole, Edward (Melanie) Tate, Johnathan (Queen) Carter and Nathaniel Thomas; daughter, Elizabeth A. Jones; sisters: Christine Buchanan, Ruby (Thomas) Parker, Daisy Jones, Edna Henard and Bertha Victor; brothers: Vernon Jones, Harvey (Dora) Jones and Charles (Edna) Jones; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
