Mildred Vogel was born on February 19, 1952, to the late Robert Joyner and Geneva Vogel in Cameta, Mississippi.  She was preceded in death by both parents and three sisters, Carloyn Barnes, Luvenia Joyner, and Pricilla Vogel.

Mildred confessed her faith in Christ at an Early Age.  She was a member of Southdale Church until she joined St Paul M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Cunningham.

She lived in Mississippi all her life where she attended school at Henry Weathers.  She begin her journey at MS Christian Family Services in 1986 until her health began to fail.

Mildred departed her earthly body on September 16, 2022 Friday morning at the Sharkey Issaquena County Nursing Home in Rolling Fork, MS.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memories her two brothers, J C Joyner and Fred Joyner of Detroit, MI; two sisters Sharlene Vogel of Rolling Fork, MS; Azlean Joyner of Rolling Fork, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
