Odessa Handy was born March 13, 1955 to the late Harry Pitts and Viola Thompson in Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband Samuel Handy.

Odessa confessed Christ at an early age, she attended school at Henry Weathers.

Odessa departed her earthly body on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Vicksburg, MS, where she was living with her son.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Andary (Belinda) Voss; one grandson, Andre Voss, Jr; two great-grandchildren, Adora and Ayden Voss all of Vicksburg, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
