Rachel was born April 23, 1951, to the late Henry and Patsy Paige in Tallulah, Louisiana.

Rachel was a phenomenal and caring mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She was a pillar of her family, often hosting family gatherings just to bring everyone together. She selflessly gave herself to helping anyone in need including her own parents.

Rachel was also a spunky, cool, and outspoken lady. She believed in fun, family, and keeping it "REAL." Because Rachel did not play, and she was known to be the person you did not want to play games with. That personality combined with her noble heart will be missed.

Rachel also loved her girls! They were the apples of her eye, and they made her so proud. She was also a wonderful grandmother and enjoyed spending quality time with them teaching them about life.

Rachel made her transition on Friday, August 23, 2024, in Greenville, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Antoine Archer; four brothers, and one sister.

Rachel leaves to cherish her memories, five beautiful daughters: Tara Paige of Vancouver, WA; Ariel (Steven) Jonas of Miami, FL; Meriel (Joe) Bonney of Detroit, MI; Victoria (Willie) Thomas of Vicksburg, MS, and Robin Caldwell of Hollandale, MS. One brother: Eddie (Sherry) Paige of Marmaduke, Arkansas. Two sisters: Lousie (Eric) Wharton and Carolyn Paige. And a loving partner, Melvin Harris. She also leaves to cherish her memories six beautiful grandchildren and one beautiful great- granddaughter along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
