Obituary

Robert T. Williams, Sr. was born in Mayersville, Mississippi to the late Saul Williams, Sr. and Gracie Reed. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Mayersville, Mississippi, he served faithfully until his health failed as a drummer and Deacon.

Robert T., also known as Mane Dew, was loved by the Mississippi Delta. He founded Williams Lawn Service, Inc., and operated the first motel and check cashing business in Issaquena County. He served as the fire chief for many years and retired as a Road Foreman and Homeland Security Officer for Issaquena County. He was a dedicated and hardworking member of many organizations, such as Delta Blue Birds Motorcycle Club, Issaquena County Community Choir, Traveling Angels Choir, and Sharkey - Issaquena Mass Choir. He had a smile that would warm your heart and light up a room.

Robert T loved his family dearly. As a father he trained his sons to work hard and always put God first. As a grandfather, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He would always try to spend quality time with them, and that, love for God was passed down to them. His favorite saying was "Your Wants Will Get You In Trouble". And to his family members and everyone he met that statement resonated through their minds and in their actions.

On June 12, 2024, God decided to call his son to his heavenly home.
