" His Life Made Him Stronger"

Deacon Willie Earl Warfield, Jr. (Sugarman) was born April 2, 1930 as the eldest child of Willie and Virginia Warfield, Sr. of Vicksburg, MS. Helping to raise his siblings, he was a natural caregiver, protector, and leader to his three siblings, Margaret Warfield, Min. Jessie Warfield, and Mable Lucille Stewart.  Willie loved his family and worked hard to prove that life could improve.  He was serious about wanting to be a good example and provide the best he could for his family and loved ones.  He was loving and would give whenever he could.  He listened and gave Godly opinions, always hoping for the best.

" His Life Journey"

At the age of 21 he became a member of the United States Army Reserve and served from May 8, 1951 to April 21, 1953 as Private First Class.  After be i ng honorably discharged from active duty he worked multiple factory jobs such as Leland Oil Mill, Dillionham Furniture Co., and Modern Line Product s. He retired from Modern Line in 2003 after being employed there for over 30 years.

"His Relationship with God"

Deacon Warfield journey with God started in the early 70's where he accepted a hope in Christ and was baptized at Good Hope M.B. Church, where he later became a deacon, this was the beginning of his long committed, dedicated life with Christ.  After his life experiences, he joined 2 nd Baptist later moving to Beulah Grove.  His journey ended at Unity M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Terry Jones.  He remained faithful to Jesus Christ until he was called home.  He loved believing that nothing could separate him from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

"A Completed Life"

H e was preceded in death by his father and mother Willie and Virginia Warfield, his sister Margaret Warfield and his brother Min. Jessie Warfield.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Flossie Warfield of 57 years; 6 children: Shirley (Barry) Howard, Sr., Doris Kay (Leonard) Murrell, Patrick (Deborah) Jones, Willie Earl (Monica) James, Barry, and Billy Fearence; 1 sister, Mable Lucille Stewart; 11 grandchildren: Barry (BJ) Howard, Jr., Kevin Bell, Jr., Anthony Bell, Tiffany Bell, Delores James, Catherine James, Sidney James, Willie Earl James, II, LeAndra Murrell, Chandria (Rob) Lewis and Alexis Murrell;10 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
