Funeral services for Willie Ruth Moore, 74, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at Mt. Zion MB Church, Cary. Burial will be at Green Chapel Cemetery, Rolling Fork. Evangelist Betty Ross will be officiating.  A visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 27 from 4-7 p.m. in Adele Walker Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Ms. Moore died August 20, 2021 at her home in Rolling Fork.

She is survived by her son, J.C. Moore, Jr.; daughters, Deborah Prothro & Andrea Moore; sisters: Niellie Speed, Louise Hooper, Margarette Bishop & Eller McCaleb; brothers: James Ross, Dalton Ross, Cleveland Ross, Jr. & Burnett Johnson, Jr.; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
